Messages on Hold |
|
Also known as Music on Hold, MoH
Refers to what the caller would hear after their phone call is placed on hold at the business. This is a great opportunity for any business to offer information about it's services and promote it's products. The caller is a captive audience while waiting to be connected to the correct party.
Messages on hold are typically short length promos with music played in between. the type and pace of the music is as important as the text of the message itself. You want to keep the caller interested, not bored, and still get the meaning of your message across to the caller.
Any business that places callers on hold and does not have a Message on Hold program in place, is not taking advantage of a very effective, low cost, advertising opportunity. |
