Translation |
|
Translation is the interpretation of the meaning of a text in one language (the "source text") and the production, in another language, of an equivalent text (the "target text," or "translation") that communicates the same message.
Translation must take into account a number of constraints, including context, the rules of grammar of the two languages, their writing conventions, their idioms and the like.
Voiceover recording at VoicesOnCall.com is done is numerous languages. Sometimes, the client provides the script in the language to be recorded. Other times. the script may be provided by the client in English and our Talents are asked to translate the script into the language to be recorded. Scripts must be written in the language to be recorded. Professional voiceover Talents cannot translate "on the fly" as the read in one language and record in another.
VoicesOnCall.com has staff that can translate most common languages. When needed by a client, this service is available for a fee. |
