Voiceover Industry Terms -
Use of recording |
|
The actual use of the final produced project is an important factor in determining the Voiceover Talent rates.
Use of recordings may be for something as simple as a telephone greeting, a commercial, all the way to a movie trailer.
The cope of the recording is also important. A commercial may be used in a local, neighborhood market, or larger regional market, and sometimes nationally. The same goes with any type of production. An audio book CD may be distributed to a small number of member in a particular club, for example, or sold nationally.
Both the Use and Scope of the final production are used by the Talents in determining their fees for a particular project. |
